The Softstar combines the advantages of umbrellas and softboxes: it is as easy to set up as a standard umbrella, yet provides the soft, brilliant light characteristic of a softbox. Its wide-angle light dispersion makes it an ideal choice for use with wide-angle lenses.

During a shoot, the flash is directed through the umbrella. The side facing the light source is covered with a black/silver reflective fabric, which ensures a higher light output compared to conventional umbrellas.

The Softstar features a highly robust frame for long-lasting durability and a hard-wearing cover.
