The beauty dish creates round, natural-looking catchlights in the eyes. It is ideal for portrait, wedding, beauty, fashion, and school or kindergarten photography, and is robust enough for outdoor use. When combined with reflectors (fill lights), it serves as an excellent key light.
Its lightweight aluminum construction and tool-free accessory-swapping system make it the perfect companion for on-location shoots.

Applications using optional accessories:

• Beauty Dish + deflector = soft light with a wide-angle spread.
• Beauty Dish + deflector + 22" honeycomb = accented, directional light with a narrow beam angle and a soft fall-off toward the edges.
  
  
• Beauty Dish + 7" honeycomb = strongly accented, directional light in the center with a pronounced fall-off toward the edges.
  
  
• Beauty Dish + 7" honeycomb + 22" honeycomb = strongly accented, directional light in the center with an extreme fall-off toward the edges.
  
  

The light characteristics can be further modified using diffusion or color gels, which can be attached via the included 7" gel holder. A selection of four different 7" honeycombs and two different 22" honeycombs significantly expands your creative possibilities.
