"Real visuals" is the best way to describe our flash heads. They range from the sunny effect of a Fresnel spotlight to the pattern projection of a follow-spot with sharply defined shadows. Powerful across every class, our specialized flash heads offer lighting capabilities suited to any application or studio size.

Good lighting design presents challenges that can only be met with the right equipment. That is why we offer such an incredibly unique selection. Lighting experts and professional photographers work side by side - united by a single goal: the perfect image!

EH Mini

The "globetrotter" among flash heads. We’ve packed up to 3,000 Ws into a housing that is smaller and lighter than the EH Pro. Without compromising on lighting quality, this flash head reduces weight and saves storage space thanks to its detachable flash cable. It offers effortless portability for traveling image makers ‘on the road’ who never know what tomorrow might bring.

Still undecided? The ‘Speed’ version of the Mini i significantly shortens the flash duration, ensuring you don't lose any detail or sharpness - no matter how much movement there is on your next trip.

EH Pro

Robust and versatile - like a chameleon - it meets every requirement and adapts perfectly to any situation. Flash tubes that extend well out of the housing and into the light shaper ensure uniform illumination across everything from a 7-inch reflector to a 120 x 180 cm softbox, creating the ideal foundation for perfectly lit images where it matters most.

With its high-quality 2.5 mm aluminum housing and flash outputs of up to 6000 Ws, it is the perfect choice for industrial, furniture, and wet plate photography, as well as countless still-life studios. No matter how your experience, cameras or jobs evolve, the EH Pro remains a steadfast companion for decades, delivering perfect, reproducible results.

F-Spot

F for Fashion, F for Food, F for Furniture, or F for F-Spot.

The F-Spot delivers the ultimate "sun" effect for medium-to-large-scale subjects, thanks to its 30 cm Fresnel lens. A unique offering from Hensel - featuring a flash spot housed in an ARRI case - it conjures up sunlight in any setup, supporting outputs of up to 6000 Ws. Its design, with the flash tube positioned at the focal point, allows for a wide focusing range; unlike other flash heads, this enables the projection of shadows from objects placed between the light source and the subject itself.
In automotive photography, this flash head is ideal for bouncing light to create superb gradients across a large diffusion panel.

For those who love drama, this extraordinary lighting characteristic is perfect for black-and-white portraits - a guaranteed homage to the world of Alfred Hitchcock.

Starspot

"The sun in your pocket." There’s a good reason that we offer this focusable flash head - featuring an 11 cm Fresnel lens - for our battery-powered systems as well. No, it is certainly not the first choice for a biometric passport photo. However, for a radiant portrait of a CEO, it will lend the image that sunny, airy, and desirable lightness you have been seeking - even if you use it "only" as a fill light. Focus it more narrowly and harshly, and you will effortlessly bring out the true character of your subject

In some of our clients' furniture photo studios, you will find up to a dozen of these flash heads. They create everything from sunny light to soft, graduated reflections achieved via scrims or bounce walls. This spotlight is a star when it comes to versatility. The only remaining question is how we came up with such a "creative" name.

Wide-Angle Superspot

This light creates quite a spectacle - don’t worry, only when you use it as a follow-spot, just like on the world's great stages. Beyond that, it delivers precision lighting; thanks to its iris diaphragm, it can cast targeted pools of light - perfect for everything from still-life photography to transportation shots.

Its lens design allows you to project gobos and other transparencies onto the background or the subject - focusing them sharply or softly, much like a camera lens.

Major fashion labels have even used it as their primary light source to stage entire campaigns with a circus-ring aesthetic. It is a true all-rounder if you are looking to add more character to your images.

Ringblitz

Flash Box

Thanks to the extremely uniform illumination across the entire light surface, this box is ideally suited for creating reflections in glossy objects. Its compact dimensions and rimless illumination make it perfect for all tabletop and product photography applications.

This box features a sturdy metal housing, a frameless Plexiglas panel, and a bright modeling light. It is also excellently suited for use in table top setups!

LightStick

The LightStick’s extremely compact design makes it ideal for tucking away into tight spaces. It is a handy tool wherever there isn't enough room for standard flash heads - whether in vehicles or furniture, you can always find a spot for the LightStick.

Lightbar 130

A slim, clean light source providing uniform illumination and gradients, thanks to a tunnel diffuser. Precisely adjustable barn doors allow for sharply defined shadow edges. Its standout strengths lie in projecting lines and accentuating edges and contours. Multiple light bars can be connected without any interruption in the light.
